It would be a travesty if an alternative location could not be found.As an ex RAF SNCO who was stationed at RAF Scampton for 5 years in the 1970's, I know how important this area is to the good people of Linconshire..

Just another example of the 'powers that be' lack of a sense of the history of this nation and, in particular, Lincolnshire and the people who flew from there, served there and died there for us and our freedom.

Yes we need an Airshow in the Lincolnshire area, it is stll a vital area for the RAF to show the public it's equipment and aircraft.

No RAF airshow in "Bomber Country "
is an insult to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, some of my relatives included.
The Waddington Airshow was not only an Airshow, but a Living Memorial. Without such Airshows, and a lack of historical interest in schools, how can young folk be expected to even comprehend what their forebears did for us !!

Please please PLEASE find another home for an annual airshow saluting our past,present & future heritage.These events inspire future generations to become engineers,pilots etc.It also gives us the opportunity to salute the heroes who kept us free.You have only to see the 1000's who turned up recently at Leeds East to know how popular airshows are & that there is yearning for them from a very wide demographic.

The Waddington Display is one of the best displays in the country, and the son of a now sadly deceased RAF Officer, the RAF holds a special place in my heart. Please find an alternative venue if Waddington is, for understandable reasons, no longer an option

Lincolnshire without a raf air show would be like a formula 1 race without cars a travesty, I have been to 14 airshows at Waddington will be a sad day without a air show in Lincolnshire. The Spirit of Great Britain (xh558) is soon to be grounded please do not the pride of Britain (Lincolnshire's raf airshow ) be grounded

The ratepayers of this country deserve once per year to be invited to see where their money is spent and to be able to support the Royal Air Force..
Scampton is the best place for this event to be initiated.
