The number of airshows has been decimated in recent years, we can't afford to lose another.

The Waddington show is one of the very best - please let it continue somewhere in the county.

Coningsby used to host an airshow, so surely it's not beyond the realms of possibility to host it again especially as the BBMF live there.

Sir
I would hope that you could find another airfield in the county at which to hold a similar airshow.
The spectators at the airshows are taxpayers, therefore as I see it we should have a say re. the decision!!

As someone who lives in Suffolk and have therefore lost the great Mildenhall Airshow we must continue to support other great airfield airshows...such as this one.

Another venue for aviation enthusiasts will be lost unless we make a stand. We are taxpayers and should get a say in this so please listen to our views.

We accept that "times are hard" and whilst as yet not aware of the reasons given, this decision is surely NOT in the best interests of the RAF or the UK/Nato? Waddington is best placed to showcase the allied military capabilities, with its size and location to keep public support, but otherwise perhaps Coningsby as next best (ignoring other considerations though),but please DON'T end our wonderful Red Arrows (the RAF's face for the public and the world)

Lincolnshire wants to celebrate its unique place in RAF history; don't take that away. It's always easy to come back with a terse "no" citing operational reasons. We understand these reasons because we unequivocally support our services. The finest traditions of the services, however, are founded on finding ways around obstacles!

I came down from Scotland for the Airshow and many people travelled a long way to attend. We all paid for accomodation and food while in Lincolnshire and so it means a lot to tourism in Lincolnshire.

As a former member of the RAF I understand the problem of Waddington continueing with THE Air Day but please do consider Scampton as a viable alternative. It has the history, the access and the runway length. Thank the loyalty of the Lincolnshire folk, keep the airshow alive :-)
It must be saved, its a national treasure.
