We must not lose good airshows all over the country to allow the public to view our aircraft heritage both old and new and to have pride in our RAF. My father was a WW2 Bomber pilot!

Scampton is the perfect location as just outside of Lincoln off one of the main roads into it

I believe that scampton would make the perfect venue for an air show in the central east of england area.

We need to keep bomber county just at that! Keep the air show and move it to Scampton

I was stationed at Waddington in 1959/60 on 230 OCU and have attended shows there n the 60's and recently.
It is an ideal site for an Air Show and with it's history should continue to host them

We'll end up with an airshow at Fairford and one at Leuchars with nothing in between! Despite austerity, I want to see were my taxes go! 130,000 people on one weekend can't be wrong.

I believe Waddington air display should be a permanent annual event whilst it is an RAF Station, It it is a respectful celebration of all our brave aircrews past and present.

With Lincolnshire's historical connections to the R.A.F., it would be a shame if there was no air display in the county. As the Lincolnshire Echo suggests, there are alternative venues available.

We need an air show in the north, the southern ones are too far to go to - I've been going to Waddington since I was knee high to my Uncles Ken and Alan (both ex-RAF), and now I take my children. A crying shame if Lincolnshire loses THE air show.

Scampton would be perfect with its links to the Dambusters and the Red Arrows. It also has the showground next door available for parking as used, for example, with the Lincoln Christmas market.

I have visited the Waddington airshow on many occasions. It is special because it happens in the heart of bomber country. To lose such a premier show from Lincolnshire would be tragic .
