My career in the forces and to learning to fly were a result of going to Waddington air show every year. There is no option but to have a air show in Lincolnshire. It good for the forces and the county.

Apart from the economic and community benefits to the county, the show is a fund-raiser for RAF charities which will suffer if it is stopped.

To end such a spectacle and celebration of our armed forces would be a travesty. A more strict approach to security would ensure the safety of both those serving and members of the public alike.
