RAF Scampton would be an ideal base and location to stage an RAF Airshow. Not only because it is the home to the Red Arrows, which would offer the public the chance to see them take off for their display and the teams own familiar training base. This coupled with its history of 617 Dambusters Sqn. and a previous Vulcan Cold War base, would in my view, give a much needed use & development of such an historic site. Furthermore its location is very accessible from both North and South via a major route the A15, unlike so many other venues, with the Lincolnshire show ground offering their support with what I believe could be a nearby overspill parking facility which could maybe offer a shuttle bus service. I would strongly recommend that the RAF & organisers see this as an amazing opportunity to ambassador their past and present with the British Public

It would b a great shame for Lincolnshire to lose this air show.

i understand the reasons why waddington must stop but scampton ,would cause horrendous traffic problems on the A15 , and the show ground would no way be big enough for all the cars.

Bomber County, the Dambusters, 617 Squadron, Scampton - the home of the world famous Red Arrows. What else is there to say ? Just do it ! There's no problems with parking having the Lincolnshire Showground next door :-)

There is no one better than the RAF that could host this amazing showcase of skills and aircraft this and other related air forces have to offer, please please find another home in Lincolnshire for it, I only discovered Waddington on what was to be its last show, as a child we always had family days at air shows please let me carry this tradition on for my little family thank you

My grandad, having done his national service with 617 squadron would have signed this if he could, so I will in his memory and honor.

This is Bomber County and its history in RAF terms is, as far as I am concerned, unparalleled. The benefits the airshow brings to Service Charities and Lincolnshire charities must surely count for something, and it gives everyone in this area the opportunity to donate and say thank you for all the RAF did for us and still do...please dont let this wondetful event cease altigether.. RAF Scampton the 617 Squadrons home, and still the base for the best aerobatic team in the world, The Red Arrows.... What better venue could there be !!!

This is the only major airshow in the north and it brings a tremendous amount of money to the Lincoln area. It is also a showcase for the RAF and other world air forces. Just look at the amount of people who attend the show.

The waddinton airshow is the best in the country and raises so much awareness for the RAF. I have been visiting since I was a child..want to start my own annual family trip now! The show must go on.

Think Scampton would be the perfect place to hold the airshow
