Please try to help - I am ex RAF and VERY proud of our traditions of triumph through adversity - there are always options! Thank you

As the northern counties were so heavily involved in the RAF's history, it's successes and suffering over so many years, surely it is only right that we should continue to share its showcase achievements on our own doorstep.

I think it's a tragedy that cancelling the air show is even considered This great air show MUST continue

As the years go by does EVERYTHING have to move South?

Scampton would be nice as a second best. maybe some old RAF classics could be based here like at Cosford.

Scampton has to be the choice for the Airshow, Coningsby is also in the frontline. The RAF must stand up to the accountants and keep the Airshow where it belongs in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire and the RAF go hand in hand, keep an airshow in Bomber County.

With the demise of Leuchars, Cosford is the last remaining RAF air show (the Royal International Air Tattoo is a fund-raising venture for the RAF Charitable Trust). The days when every station held its own 'at home' day are sadly long gone. At a time when our armed forces continue to honour significant commitments overseas while contending with recurrent defence cuts at home, engagement with the general public has never been more important. An air show the size of Waddington is one of the few ways the Services can engage directly with the people who pay for them, and on whose support the depend. Websites, 'phone apps etc are no match for seeing service people and kit in action … in real life.

Airshows need to continue so that people of today's generation can pay homage to those who flew to ensure that this country and the people can live freely today. Also how do you encourage the next generation of aviators? As someone who went every year to Waddo certainly missed this year. Unfortunately everything boils down to money!!!!

My father SL 'Ron' Bugler flew many time from airfields in Lincolnshire during WWII. We need airshows to remind people why these bases are important.
