Lincoln is the spiritual Home County of the Royal Air Force and to move the air show is important to the service and its supporters. The R A F must select a suitable venue then fight for it if necessary.

I was mortified when I heard that the last Lincolnshire air show was being cancelled, please, please, please find another air base that could handle the volumes of cars and people that this air display could generate (Scampton / Cranwell ?). As an exRAF techie I know the effort that goes into these events, I implore you to do something positive to prevent the long link with Bomber County being broken.

As a Ex Waddington Air Traffic controller, there is no reason why the Air Show could not be moved to Scampton.
You have so much support from Ex RAF and local population that it would a very sad day to see another Air Show finished.

Airshows are now so sterile and have been nearly obliterated by the health and safety Nazi's. This show or a similar location is an absolute must !!

Please keep the airshow going, there as so many places which were where airshows were held but over the years they have disappeared and people want to see the old and the new aircraft flying if possible and they turn up in their droves to see this from all over the country, so please reconsider you decision and allow us to keep enjoying the shows.
