Dr Grillo, has been an awesome addition to the Seton community. Lisa is "all that is Seton* and I am proud of her, she has the light to know and the grace to do. I am excited about the current school culture.

It was over 30 years ago that I walked the halls of Seton. After graduating from college, I came back to join my high school track coach, Carlos, and give my time to a school that helped to mold me into the driven and independent woman I am today. After the loss of Carlos, who had become my brother/mentor, I didn’t have the passion to be there anymore so many years passed before I reconnected to the community. Seton builds a community of women that show up for each other. And I love how the alumnae are showing up for my classmate and President Dr. Grillo. (Shout out to the Class of 1989) And when we show up for her, we are showing up for the future “driven and independent” women who will walk the halls of Seton too. Over the years, the school has evolved and must continue to evolve in order for the Seton to continue to thrive and survive in this ever changing world. It’s also important as the school evolves that the rich traditions of the past continue. Dedicated alumnae can ensure that traditions continue. There is a future generation of women depending on it. I’ve seen first hand the passion and care Dr. Grillo has for the Seton Community but she can’t do it alone. And I’m glad so many people will not allow her to do it alone. “Light to know. Grace to do.” has always been our call to action. It’s time for the Seton Community to step into action.

I could not agree more with the positive sentiments expressed in this petition around Dr. Grillo's servant leadership. I'm a graduate of the class of 1992 and I've entrusted Seton with my daughter Cleo (rising senior class of 2024). Under Dr. Grillo's care and direction my daughter and her classmates know they have a voice and a safe space to express themselves and grow as young women and good human beings while tackling the academic rigore. So proud to be a part of this community as both alumni and a parent to help support the strategic direction and vision Dr. Grillo and her team has put forth.
