Please pass this bill. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to ship wine from out of state to Texas.

I support House Bill 2291, giving Texans the freedom to acquire wine products that are not available through current retail stores or direct-to-consumer suppliers. A free market should always be the default option for our legislature and lawmakers.

It's crazy that we are not allowed to import wine from other states or countries. Let us be free!

Texas is a remarkable and great state that leads the way in so many instances until one attempts to restock her/his wine cellar, which then sets us back to December 5, 1933 when the 21st Amendment was ratified. These archaic and protectionist laws in Texas no longer are relevant in a modern state like ours and HB 2291 must be passed as a first step to we Texas citizens having our freedom returned to us.

Everyone benefits from open markets and that's what HB 2291 will provide. There's no reason on this day and age to restrict the wines I purchase except to limit competition. Please end the draconian laws that exist today.

We need a free market on wine sales as we have on other out-of-state purchases, so I support HB 2291.

Closing Texas' borders to eine shipments to Texas residents and citizens denies zt ed xans access to a substantial group of wines and wineries thst are not and will never be available through in state distributors. In addition banning incoming shipments invites reciprkcal band from other states which would economically damage Texas wineries which are receiving increasing recognition nationslly
This proposed bsn is not a good idea.
