While my home is not directly threatened (other than the complete loss of our back yard and the potential loss of two 100 year old oak trees), it is absurd that we cannot get approval to mitigate this problem.

My foundation has been under water for a YEAR! N. Eagle Lake drive has been flooding for almost as long and my home is surrounded by floods on 3 sides! Neighbors have been forced to move because authorities continue to "talk" about it, with zero action. This is unacceptable and is changing the shape of this community in a hurry. Families shelter and well-being are at immediate risk here. If that's not an emergency than please recognize the millions of dollars this is and will cost the government in property tax revenue, devalued neighborhoods and road and systems restoration. Please take ACTION now! Home owners have done their part to protect these properties the best they can. It's your time to step in.

It is time to stop discussing the problem and take action. Many houses are in danger of having large water problems.

Do something about the lake levels as the stress and anxiety of seeing the water slowly take over their homes is devastating.
