I can't believe I have to sign a petition to prevent sex offenders from living near schools and other public areas were children would be. This is a prime example of how out-of-touch our government has become and the lack of common sense of liberals

My Grandaughter was approached by a child molester on the way hom from school when she was 12, but by the grace of God and few other children she would have been hurt or gone. I spent weeks driving around looking for this person and his vehicle. Within a weeks time he had approached two other children unsuccessfully while the third was not so lucky. This has got to stop.

The Horton side of my Family has lived here for Century's. I use to go to High School here and even played a little football. I have a young Son that will be a Eustace Bulldog. I agree to this petition 100%

All small towns should be given the freedom to protect their children from sex predators. Children's lives are often ruined by these under-reported crimes.

As Mayor of the City of Eagle Lake, I totally support that General Law Cities (cities w/a population of less than 5,000) should have the same rights as Home Rule Cities (cities w/a population in excess of 5,000) in protecting our children from convicted sex offenders!!
