When our mortgage is paid off, we still don't own our homes outright if we have to pay "rent" to these taxing entities!

The tax increase is forcing me to look at other housing options. I left Kingwood because I couldn’t afford to live there anymore only to have my taxes in Conroe exceed the high taxes I left in Kingwood!

All taxes are out of control but our property tax is ridiculous. Reform and cutting taxes is needed. There is no reason people should be taxed out of their homes and older homes should not have their taxes raised.
