This petition is to let Tesco management know that the recent refurbishment of Teddington Tesco has (without any given logical reason) halved the number of bicycle racks available to potential Tesco shoppers.
As a result, bicycles are regularly instead chained to the newly installed bench, existing trolley parks, other nearby street furniture and also actually left inside the Tesco store itself.
Feedback has been left via the general Tesco customer service email address by customers (no response at all) and now via Twitter the official answer is that there are "no plans at the moment to increase the number of bike racks“.
Cyclists regularly use this Tesco store so why have Tesco removed half of their available parking?
To restore what was there previously would be a start, but this even couldn't accommodate all the bicycles from customers wanting to shop at this Tesco.
