Terry is the best mail carrier I have ever encountered. He is very professional, friendly, dedicated and takes pride in his work. The mail is always stacked neatly. He goes above and beyond the call of duty, as he delivers to my office door when we have way to much to put in the parcel box. It is always obvious when it is his day off (my mail will be smashed in the box, or put in the parcel box and left unlocked, or not delivered at all). I truly hope that the USPS will reconsider his termination as Terry is an excellent mail carrier and does not deserve this treatment after so many years of service.

Terry Boyce has professionally served us and our neighborhood, Windsor Forest with compassion and dependability for many years. His treatment by the post office is unacceptable to those of us who know him and depend on him to deliver our mail and packages under all circumstances. Do you not value such loyalty? During the snow storm in 2014, as the conditions worsened, Terry refused to abandon his route. Neighbors offered him a place to stay but he insisted that he must return the mail and mail truck to the post office. This is just one example of his commitment to do his job thoroughly with little regard for his own comfort or health. We urge you to review the facts of the vehicle damage, and realize that it is small compared to the years of excellent service Terry has given to the US Post Office and his customers.

Terry has been an exemplary mail carrier for the 15 plus years that he has delivered our mail. We always receive the proper mail, neatly stacked in our box and he is both professional and friendly.
From my office window, I can see the office complex mail gazebo. I see carriers that leave the postal truck door open consistently, as well as other infractions. Carriers show up with a less than professional demeanor, some are on their telephone the entire time that they process the mail, (which would explain the mis-delivered mail). It seems that Terry has been selected as an "example," which seems an unfair way to treat a carrier after his 28 plus years of service. Quite the sad commentary on Post Office loyalty. Please reconsider his termination, as you are lucky to have him as a part of your team. Thank you,

We understand the parking brake failed on the mail truck, yet Terry is to blame for this. Wonder if the maintenance supervisor was terminated also? Terry needs a good HR attorney ASAP!
Terry makes sure we get the correct mail and finds those companies that move etc. He is the best mail carrier I've ever had in 36 years of business!

Besides being a good mailman, Terry is simply a mighty good man. We know him and have talked with him on many occasions. We have never in 12 years had a problem with his service. We would like to have him back on this route.

Terry does not deserve to lose his mail carrier job. Whatever happened was a mistake and his termination is not appropriate. Please reconsider and use common sense.

Terry has been the best postal worker I have encountered since being in Roswell. He is consistent in his delivery time, handles our packages with care, and is always a positive, smiling carrier. I hope that you don't allow a wet, early morning issue during the busy season define his career. He deserves better and we deserve him!

Terry has been a great mailman, delivering my mail since I moved here 16 years ago. He has always been friendly and thoughtful in delivering our mail. No other carrier seems to look me in the eye a smile. Terry's warm smile always communicated to me that he was happy to serve me and that he cared. It's hard to accept that a single mistake can result in his termination. In addition to this petition, I'm going to seek out the station manager and find out just what's going on here. As a customer, I deserve to know!

Terry has gone way above the call of duty representing the postal office.
Always a smile on his face no matter how late his delivery was. Terry has always had an extended service route, but had always been professional and personable. We want him back.
PS. He only has a few years to retirement.
He has been an excellent example of a public servant.
Please reinstate Terry asap.
