We are currently drafting formal letters to local news outlets to demand they stop using misleading euphemisms in their reporting. Please email your local editor today and ask them to adopt historically accurate language regarding the incarceration of Japanese Americans.

The momentum behind this effort proves that people are ready to confront the truth about the incarceration of Japanese Americans. Contact your local school board members today and demand they adopt accurate, historical language in their curriculum.

Words have power and calling it relocation is just wrong. It was incarceration plain and simple.
Those people were locked up in prison camps period. Stop sugarcoating what happened to them during the war.

Using the right words matters. History needs to be told honestly so we dont repeat the same mistakes. About time this changed.
