Clearly a person in a position with a personal agenda. Ms. Leonard does not seem to have the families and children of District 175 as a top priority. The kids deserve better leadship

The protocol for the accusations against Mr. Watkins were not properly followed. He should have been able to give his side of the story in advance and been given some sort of warning. Instead, he was just blindsided out of nowhere and told to leave. This is absolutely ridiculous that he is going through this. Sounds to me the superintendent and principal have their own agenda going on. I also find it fishy that the principal filed the claim and not the teacher.

Mr.Watkins is my all time favorite teacher. He deserves more than how he is being treated. If anyone hasn't realized how many people he has influenced they're truly crazy. He is amazing, and he has done so much for his students so lets all do something for him.

So, I don't know anyone involved with this, but have friends sharing this petition. You may want to put some explanation into your petition, otherwise it just looks like you are attacking someone with no reasoning. Maybe I missed the back story, but I don't see it on this page. Just a suggestion, as I have no side in this one way or another.

This is clearly political and some of the worst leadership. The board should be embarrassed by the way they allowed this situation to be handled. Clearly Mr. Watkins is and has been a positive influencer on many young folks over the years. It is a travesty to see the lack of respect for such a dedicated teacher and positive influencer in a community. We need more teachers like Mr. Watkins.

I do not have children in the school but . I am a tax payer . I live across the street and 6 of my niece's and nephews go/went to Ellis and emge. .. its so sad how much pam lenoard has lowered the quality of education in that school in the few years she took over!!
