To place term limits of two, four year terms on all MMWD directors. Under California law they cannot be retroactive but this would serve to eventually purge the current members over the next eight years and bring fresh ideas and thinking to the board.

This online petition, although it has no legal standing, is intended to gauge the "appetite" of the voters in Marin who are served by MMWD for a ballot initiative to limit MMWD Board members to two, four year terms over a lifetime.

If the support is there, we will move forward and submit a request for title and summary to the county and begin the real process of gathering "wet" signatures to qualify it for the November 2020 General election.
