The Planning Commission, City Council, and our HOA must demand way more detail on this and each stage of the proposed developments, especially the ones near holes 15 and 18.

The Foxland Harbor and Fairvue Plantation Planned Unit Developments (PUD’s) have incorporated the residential sites, common areas and the golf courses, since the beginning. Regardless of ownership, the Master Development Plans are meant to ensure that the character of the community is maintained, and that all property owners have the opportunity for input, when changes are proposed. The removal of the clubs from the PUD’s will allow the creation of a new and distinct development plan for country club property. We oppose the separation of the Master Plans, and respectfully ask that the request to separate be either withdrawn by the applicant, or declined by the Commission.

We support this petition, but not necessarily for the reasons stated in it. We oppose the separation of master plans because we believe that due to their critical relationship, Fairvue Plantation and Tennessee Grasslands should be closely linked not separate from a city planning perspective. We respectively ask that Tennessee Grasslands withdraw their request to separate the subject Master Plans and work closely with the HOA to build a close and mutually beneficial relationship.

I support the petition to require full disclosure by TG and to stop the "Guest housing" concept. Fairvue bylaws do not permit home rentals for extended periods, why would we want rentals by the day? And we don't need traffic from banquet facilities.

I agree with the petition as written, and urge the City Planning Commission, the City Council of Gallatin, and all City leadership of Gallatin to deny the request from Tennessee Grasslands.

The ownership of the club cannot be allowed to have free reign without oversight of the community. The golf courses are too integral to the value of the community to allow uncontrolled development.

If TG is allowed to separate their Preliminary Master Plan from the existing long term Fairvue Plantation/Foxland Final Master Plan homeowners will have little or no say in what TG builds in our community. Don't be fooled by their bait and switch sales pitch. They want to place hotels (they call guest housing) in our neighborhood for short term rental - sort of like Airbnb. We must stop this on 10/28.

I agree with the petition requiring a formal plan and meeting before any action takes place on a zoning request.
