This HOA needs to be better about managing money, period. The dues for what residents/homeowners receive in amenities in return is frankly not worth it.

Cut back on the event offerings. It’s a neighborhood, not a cruise ship.

Budget should be adjusted to account for issues with the park unless this becomes a gated community and only ten trails residents have access

We need to cutback on the events in order to pay for the vandalism. Raising the fees should be a last resort not the first thing you do.

I’d rather have a smaller event or two canceled.. like the markets than increase our dues.
Let’s get creative with a solution instead of the easy route (for you) to simply increase HOA dues.

I support reallocating budget money instead of raising HOA dues. I would happily get rid of hanging baskets and community events if it meant maintaining or reducing budget costs.

Please reduce the HOA dues. The inflation and cost of living is already hurting everyone.

We outspend local communities many times over for our excessive landscaping and frequency of events. I’d like to see the dues decrease and a more fiscally responsible budget.

The budget can be adjusted. We don’t need all the flowers or amenities at the park! Our dues have increased significantly every year,

We, the undersigned residents of the community, respectfully oppose the proposed increase in HOA dues intended to cover the cost of vandalism repair and replacement equipment at the community park.
It is unfair to place the financial burden of this vandalism on homeowners, especially when our residents consistently work hard to maintain the community’s beauty and integrity—just as the HOA strives to do. The likelihood that the vandalism was carried out by individuals from outside the community is considerably high, and therefore, it is unreasonable to penalize residents for acts they did not commit.
Instead of raising dues, we urge the HOA to explore preventative and long-term solutions, such as installing security cameras at the park. This would not only help deter future vandalism but also protect the shared spaces we all take pride in.
We believe in working together to preserve the safety, value, and beauty of our neighborhood without placing an undue financial burden on homeowners.

Install cameras without charging the owners. Install cameras at all critical areas in the neighborhood. This is an example of a risk that HOA has to mitigate and take ownership without passing on the cost to Owners.

We can definitely adjust our budget for this kind of small expenses. We don’t have to increase hoa for it.
