There is no question East Grand Rapids needs Alex Constantelos as a teacher. Never have I experienced a teacher so passionate about their students or the material as Alex. In all of high school, I learned the most from him and I know others will say the same. Hiring him means you gain a young, passionate teacher for years to come. Passing on this opportunity would be such a huge mistake.

Mr. Constantelos has more than demonstrated his ability to excel in a teaching position at EGR Public Schools. His knowledge, dedication, and intellect is a necessary addition to the EGR School System. To pass on an individual with his qualifications and proven enthusiasm and committment to EGR students would certainly be regrettable.

I have known Alex since 2013 and have had the pleasure of watching him teach and interact not only with my two children but their classmates as well. His connection with the students, his passion for teaching, and his dedication to his profession are unsurpassed. I cannot recommend anyone for a high school teaching position more than I can recommend Alex Constantelos. He would be a fantastic addition to the staff at East Grand Rapids High School.

Telos is an incredibly unique talent. His combination of intelligence, infectious enthusiasm, knowledge, and leadership will make East Grand Rapids High School better both in the classroom and with its prized extracurricular, "We The People". My son just completed his first year of college and found Weeple was some of his very best preparation. Alex was an asset to the program like no other. Students want to do their best for him.

WTP was sn amazing educational experience for my son Spencer Bowdle and Telos was a big part of that experience. He's not only a knowledgeable and dedicated coach, but he leads with an excellent example for how to do scholarship. I recognize this because I'm a scientist and scholar myself. He's truly outstanding and the program wouldn't be the same without him.

We have had 3 children go through the WTP program in the last 3 years, and all 3 have enthusiastically acknowledged that the program would not have been the success that it has been without Alex. His intellect, his passion, and his dedication to both teaching and to his students makes Telos the epitome of what we EGR parents desire in a teacher for our children. Our family has the utmost respect and admiration for this young man, and would consider it a privilege to have Alex Constantelos on staff at EGRHS.

My son just competed in We the People Nationals, 2017, and according to my son (Lucas Conrad-Loew) Telos's instruction was extremely important to the success of this year's EGRHS team. During this school year, we kept hearing that Telos is extremely knowledgeable and the students were thankful for his counsel. All signs (to this parent) indicate that Telos is an excellent and highly effective teacher and mentor who inspires students. I heartily recommend that EGRPS hire him into the apparently upcoming opening.
