As Canada's Premier and National Police service, we deserve to be paid similarly to the top as we carry higher caseloads with less members and have a lot less resources in the way of equipment, backup and training than our other counterparts. The Treasury Board has said we are to be an average of the top 3, but we have fallen way behind with no reprocussions. How can we be working in the latter part of 2016 with no agreement on pay since 2014? This is not acceptable and the RCMP will continue to lose good members and have a hard time remaining competitive to hire good members if this continues.

Working conditions are deplorable at many locations within mounted police. I was very nearly killed recently as a result. Please let us bargain on all issues related to compensation, benefits and working conditions.
