It makes me sad that the government trusts RCMP members to exercise good judgement in the course of their duties but shows that they (the government) do not trust members to show good judgement in negotiations. (As illustrated by the exclusions.)

Please show the RCMP the same respect you show parliament. If you want a federal force please treat us with equality. If you don't please let the provinces know so they can plan and before we have lost all respect and professionalism due to poor hiring practices and lack of decent applicant.

Please give RCMP officers the same rights as any other unionized police officer in this country. Let the members build this force back up to where it should be so that this country can be proud of it again.
