Someone, presumably a political functionary, said, "It's too late to turn back now."
Question: Why?

There are other things more important to use that money for. Why are the taxpayers wishes never important ?

I don't see why there needs to be all this disruption. What is the real underLYING reason for this? Especially here?

Is there really that much traffic to constitute this? I say not!

No new road projects should be initiated till they can maintain the ones they have. This is stupid. If they do not have money to maintain roads, how will they be able to maintain this.
The problem isn't that roundabouts are safer, the issue is we keep giving licenses to people who cannot drive.

roundabouts are dangerous, we need to remove all the existing ones and start building american roads with stop signs and leave the roundabouts in England.

I never noticed any accidents. Traffic seems to flow just fine why waste the money on a pointless roundabout. Maybe the money should be used to get rid of the roundabouts on maple ave. those are in terrible shape.

This is really inconvenient and unnecessary. If anything make a larger curbed area that is bright yellow stripes in front of Evergreen Gardens . Make it a visible split between the roads. It's going to create a mess with the church directly between the restaurant, church,Savinos,Mc Donald's entrance.

Rondaboutsare difficult for pedestrians and vehicles to maneuver. They are easily damaged by larger vehicles and trucks and require near constant repairs.

We really do not need this kind of thing in town. It will be extremely painful in town much as the ones on maple ave have been. Plus the lots in that area are small enough. Eliminating those will harm business.

Unless the traffic lights are removed at the Clinton St. and 2nd St. intersections, this is going to cause serious traffic flow issues and be a danger to pedestrians. Very bad idea.

A roundabout located here would be foolish to say the least. Not only does it affect multiple businesses in that vicinity, but it will also turn a relatively smooth intersection into a real problem for people trying to go to these businesses.
