This is crazy there enough for of the stupid round abouts around here we don't need no more and beside it Gunna affect business for sever place around that area

There are better things to be spending the money on, let's rebuild the city of Elmira, how about we give some financial help for people to give their homes more curb appeal , let's put some money into repairing the roads, more street lights to make them safer for people to walk down, how about taking that money and put into brand pool, put into use for revitalizing the city of Elmira rather than putting it into something that nobody wants with the exception of the city council, this should be a vote for the taxpayers. .

What is it with Elmira/Chemung County the last couple of years and circles (Roundabouts) The ones in Pine City were simply a waste! Stop wasting Tax Payer Money.

It is a shame you want to harm a business that has served the community for years. Work on the slum lords and vacant buildings.

It is a waste of money to put a roundabout on North Main St. Put the money to better use and fix some of the axle-busting pot holes in town. It's ridiculous to require so many alignments on our vehicles due to poor street conditions.

There is no point in putting a roundabout on N Main Street. There are more important things to use the money for like new sidewalks or improving the roads in Elmira.

I do not see the amount of traffic on North Main St. warranting the expense and complication of construction of a roundabout. Care should be given to drawing business to downtown Elmira, not driving it away. IMO, changing one-way streets to two-way streets in downtown Elmira did little to draw new business. The two roundabouts on Madison Avenue are little more than expensive speed bumps. Regardless of where the money is coming from, let's spend wisely.
