I really dont see the need for the city to spend the money on this roundabout. There have not been any real problem there. I go through there everyday. Traffic runs through there very smoothly. I've never had a problem there. I just don't see the point. Save the money and use it somewhere where it's really needed. Like law enforcement. We dont need a riundabout in this spot.

I would also like to see the ones on maple Ave removed - such a pain with a trailer, and to be honest they aren't warrented

Roundabout there would make ME drive a different route to avoid it! Our dtreets in Elmira are NOT wide enough for roundabouts!!! I already avoid Maple Ave because of the roundabouts there!! It was my understanding that they were to be taken down, but they are still there. My vote is NO, NO, NO!!

Another stupid idea by the city fathers!!! Spend the money FIXING the streets, bring new businesses back to Downtown, or upgrade some of the neighborhoods!!! Be Smart, Dummies!!!!

Hate roundabouts and think its a waste of money but most of all will do harm to small business in that circle that has been part of Elmira for generations!

Find better ways to spend money Elmira... the last thing this city needs is another roundabout. How about you pave all of our horrible streets before you think about a stupid roundabout. Or get businesses into our downtown area without charging ridiculous taxes/rent. Or better yet, invest in our schools!

We do NOT need a round-about in that part of Elmira. -- I live on the southside, right near those poorly executed round-abouts on Maple Ave, so I know EXACTLY how annoying and inconvenient they can be. Not to mention yes, lack of parking. -- The city should NOT be taking on a project that will drive businesses to the ground, or force them to move, period.

Roind abouts are not the answer to stupid drivers..Is going to cause a cluster f#@k with traffic right there with as busy as that area is at several points during the day,..Not to mention the businesses that will lose customers during and after completion..Dont you think there are more pressing issues with in the city other than putting these stupid hazards in? Fix roads,make landlord fix homes, get rid of the drugs and scum in Elmira first..
