Tell the City of Elmira NO to a Roundabout on North Main Street!

Please dedicate any available money towards property revitalization, Elmira was a great city in the early 1900"s. Many homes are in disrepair , and with the location of two prisons , the city has become a haven for low income , and public assisted housing .... We need to remove the blighted , property "s over the next few decades, and maybe eventually there would be enough building lots available , for newer home construction .... It has been 44 yrs , since the flood , and downtown is still the focus ...... Maybe it is time to look into the city and attack the real problem, of 120 plus year old homes , decaying , all over the city ......

This street is FINE!!! The City needs to spend the MONEY to something else that needed the most!!

There are a lot more productive ways to use that money to build up the City of Elmira than using it on a roundabout!

Why don't you try resurfacing some of the horrible streets in Elmira instead of wasting money on another nightmare! In ten years on my street, no repairs! My daughter moved out of Elmira because "the streets are all like washboards to drive on".

Roundabouts are not safer, I don't understand why they are resurrecting this traffic model, when most cities got rid of them years ago because they are ineffective.
