Roundabouts are dangerous! They cause more harm than good. That money could be better served by investing in repairing roads or improving downtown Elmira making it great again.

Actually, Roundabouts save lives! Elmira needs a roundabout right there. I encourage it for safety.

Between the disruption of local business and the confusion. These roundabout are not helping the city. The two on Maple Ave are more dangerous than before and the trucks and plows can't even make it around them. The last thing the city needs is more.

If anything they should put a round about in horseheads near the town hall where 5 roads come together

This is legit the dumbest idea Elmira has had in a long time. This will only cause more confusion and cause more problems. Just like the round-abouts in pine city have done. So please for the love of God and all that is holy. Use the grant money given to Elmira to build businesses and start new deleopments. Don't take away from these local business and make driving more dangerous in Elmira.

The Roundabouts are a headache in the other locations and they only get tore up in the winter months when the plow trucks go through. They don't do anything other than make people travel on different roads.
