Management strikes again. Another example of the city management wasting $$$$$. Use the money to give existing or future small business owners a tax break. Elmira needs businesses in downtown, not roundabouts. It still amazes me how those who run the city still haven't gotten it since the 72 flood.

We do not need a roundabout anywhere in Elmira spend the money on something worth doing the ones on maple ave were a waste a speed bump would have been sufficient without a quarter of the cost it took to put.roundabouts wake up and quit wasting taxpayers money!

It is difficult enough getting in and out of that area not only for the customers of the liquor store but also for the customers of Ever Green which is right across the street. Please there is no purpose to a round about in this area especially when all that is needed is possibly a couple stop signs.

Elmira does not need any roundabouts! They are more trouble than helpful. We are not a big city. Stop wasting money on useless things. I'm disgusted at the fact you've wasted time and money even consider in this! Shame on our local officials!

Also kindly get rid of the ones on Maple Avenue they're too big around and not exactly serving their intended purpose. Really could improve and make elmira nice again by using some of the empty buildings and real small business incentives.

These round abouts may work in a bigger city than Elmira, but not here. People just drive over them, snowplows can't go around very well, and you have alot of people that don't know how to use them. Spend the money more wisely!

Bad Idea - will hurt all business in the area - please tell us if this goes through it will be MUCH BETTER then the two you constructed on Maple Ave. They are horrible.

Roundabout cause more harm and accidents than the lights, why waste money on something that's not broken?? Why don't you use that money for the SCHOOLS and the FUTURE of this country??
