This is the craziest infrastructure change I have ever seen proposed. The streets in Elmira are horrid. If there is money to be spent, improve what already exists. Go after slum landlords, get rid of the urban sprawl. Craziness.

U will have more accidents. Ppl will not look or just drive right threw. Go sit at 328 by the post office and just watch how ppl are. It's so sad. What's yield. Keep going ok. Lol. U will take away parking space for the city in the small businesses over there. Savinos has been there for generations

Attract business provide incentives to small business owners. Than when there is a steady flow of traffic concern yoyurselves and infrastructure dollars in a roundabout. Just not needed at this time.

this is just half baked . these roundabouts are not meant for city streets of this nature . i have lived in big city's with real roundabouts that are actually needed .the $$ could be better spent

There is NO reason to put a roundabout in downtown Elmira. The ones they have already done are useless, exspecially on Maple Ave, which they are now talking about taking out. Another waste of money. STOP wasting money on these things and fix the real problems.

These roundabouts are a safety hazard. I , personally, have almost been the victim of an accident, and almost caused an accident, because of this design. In particular, on Maple Ave. in Elmira, there is no warning coming up to them....and when the snow is covering them, you cannot see them. No lights, nothing to warn you. Please do not do this to downtown Elmira. The location will be unfair to the remaining businesses in that location. Nor will it be fair to the pedestrian traffic, which is plentiful in that location. Thank you.

No!!! Fix potholes, clean the city, mow vacant properties, stop wasring funds on roundabouts!!!!!!! Ciry has gone 200 years without those ugly things.

Retarded idea. All these shootings and drugs in this town and all you wanna worry about is roundabouts. What happen at Patrick's what about the kid that was shot on the Southside. Never heard anymore about it . Now we wanna put a roundabout in. That will solve all the crime . City office is full of retards

We do not need round snouts on our streets, endangering local business, which there are too few of now anyway. Round about a are a waste of taxpayer dollars. Put those dollars to work fixing some of the streets that desperately need repair.
