The Justice Department is preparing to bring criminal corruption charges against New Jersey Democratic Senator Robert Menendez, alleging he used his Senate office to push the business interests of a Democratic donor and friend in exchange for gifts.

Dear Senator Menendez,

We the undersigned demand you resign effective immediately. Your alleged use of your Senate office to push the business interests of a donor and friend in exchange for gifts is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in a representative.

It is impossible for a Senator, Democrat or Republican, to function effectively on behalf of taxpayers under such a cloud. Senator Menendez, you owe it to New Jersey to assure our citizens have the fullest representation possible.
