Sign up saying you want to "Keep Your Seat" at Seminole County Schools. Your School Choice is the same School. Let your voice be heard

Seminole County is planning to reduce capacity at its schools so that " No School Choice will be Available in Seminole County". The Seminole County School Board said this in the meeting on January 24th just before the Longwood Rezone vote.

All schools in the Longwood Rezone will be reducing student counts to fill Longwood Elementary that is just coming on line. There will be about 100 seats being emptied at each school as the students move to Longwood so the room is there now.

Not everyone wants to change schools. If they like where they are at, Let them stay!

Please sign the petition saying YOU DO NOT WANT ANY SCHOOL CAPACITY REDUCTIONS until after the 2017-2018 enrollment is over in Seminole County Schools.

There's also another ELEPHANT in the room no one is talking about. The School Board said in the January 24th meeting that more School Rezone projects are on the horizon.

Don't let Seminole County circumvent the new law. We should be able to stay in our school if we want to. There's plenty of room.

We built our home where we did for the schools we are zoned for specifically- that's a big investment to make if the county is just going to take it away.

Our children should not be forced to leave the friends and faculty they love. My daughter is thriving. I see no reason to send her to a different school. I will do whatever it takes to ensure stability in her learning environment.

Leave the kids in the same classrooms until new school year.It is hard on kids to be changed from a class once they are settled in.

Choices should not be the one allowed to assign a student to a different region, if I provide the transportation.

Parents should have a choice in who educates their children. Please don't take their choices away.
