TELL PRESIDENT BARCHI: WHAT ARE YOU "SICK OF" WHEN IT COME TO YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS AT RUTGERS?

I'm sick of having three different health insurance plans in the past year because of switching from a fellowship to GAship and back again.

I'm sick of not getting paid enough to meet my cost of living needs - it's too expensive to live here and get paid a laughable wage! I need a raise!

I'm sick of a salary so meager that half of it goes to childcare. If not for my husband, I couldn't afford to be here.

Cost of living is rising. For those of us with children, conditions are even more difficult. Rutgers has the funds; stop "beautifying" the physical infrastructure at the expense of human resources! Raise salaries like a decent employer would!

The cost of living in NJ as gone up and the last time there was as change in wage for a TA/GA was a long time ago. Other prestigious universities are keeping up to the changing times and it seems Rutgers currently is behind in taking better care of its grad workers.

We aren't get paid enough to cover cost of living expenses.
