I live in the Town of Hempstead and I should be receiving public water! There should not be added taxes and profits that the New York American Water imposes upon us ! It’s a rip-off! It’s time to oust this private water company!

Why are we not getting the same public water neighboring towns are getting. Tired of being ripped off.

We have been bearing the load of NYAW's property taxes and high profit margins while neighbors in surrounding areas and even in my own town have the benefits of municipal water which is tax exempt. LIAW is poor water quality with high prices. No more for profit public utilities. Pay local people union wages to provide state certified training to the workers maintaining the system and let's get quality water delivered to the area.
