It's about time that all Town of Hempstead residents were treated equally. Our water rates are ridiculous compared to our neighbors paying public water rates. How about some fairness.

Since the suppliers of water serve The Commons, water companies should be public entities. For-profit water companies don't serve the stakeholders like a public utility does.

I use to live in Merrick and now live in Glen Head. I am still stuck with NY American Water. Since Merrick is still part of the Town of Hempstead and you are the new leader of the Town, it is time you began to act like a leader and not the clerk which your previous position.
