URGENT: Sign Petition and Call Town Hall - Only 2 Days Left for the Town of Hempstead to File Its Intentions to Acquire American Water

Public Water PLEASE

I pay an outrageous price for "Water", living in the Town Of Hempstead. "BUT, CAN'T DRINK IT", all i smell is Chlorine, so I have to BUY WATER I CAN DRINK,, ISN'T WATER A NECESSITY TO LIVE?, ITS TIME THAT HOMEOWNERS IN THE TOH STOP HAVING TO 500% MORE THAN PEOPLE THAT GET PUBLIC WATER, I HOPE CLAVIN & THE BOARD STAND UP & DO THEIR JOB WITH THIS ISSUE

Not only is my water bill outrageously expensive, I had my water tested and Baldwin Harbor's water tests positive for Arsenic and contains more Chlorine than my pool. My Usage Report from NY American Water says that in Dec. of 2019, I used 16,100 gls. of water, but in Jan. only used 2,300. How is that even possible? It's a huge Racket. It is basically fraud and I am disgusted but have no other options. I hope this issue starts being taken seriously by our Elected Officials.

We are entitled to public water.

We need lower water rates through a takeover of NYAW.

Please lower our rates and give us water that is not polluted

It is time for fair, resonable water rates. We pay too much for a basic commodity.

I am sick and tired of paying outrageously high prices for my water to NY American Water. They are also failing to keep the water safe. It is about time the town of Hempstead thought about the safety & welfare of its taxpayers instead of saving money & acquired NY American Water so we would finally have a public water supply that can be trusted & no longer be overcharged.

It's time for the Town of Hempstead to represent and work for ALL of it's residents

WE NEED TO HAVE A PUBLIC WATER TAKEOVER. WE HAVE BEEN PAYING DOUBLE OUR TAXES FOR WAY TOO LONG. WE ARE TIRED OF PAYING OUR OWN PROPERTY AND SCHOOL TAXES TAXES AS WELL AS PROPERTY AND SCHOOL TAXES FOR NYAW. IT HAS TO STOP. WE VOTED FOR DONALD CLAVIN FOR CHANGE. IT IS TIME FOR THE CHANGE.

We can not afford these rates NY Amer is charging us.
