We pay much more for the same water - it’s unfair and unconstitutional.

Water is not a luxury, it is a necessity that should not be unaffordable to use. Please do not let our water company be used as a profit making business!

We need a public takeover of our water service. Our rates are three times what other water districts pay.

We should have a choice of water provider. How is it that New York American Water can charge so much more than any other Nassau county water provider.

It is criminal allowing a for-profit monopoly to be a water provider. When we moved to our current house and received the first bill, I was sure the prior owners skipped without paying their yearly bill. It was 10x+ what we had paid our previous town supplied water bill.

Our water comes from the same aquifer as public water Residents ; however, We must pay for a private company profits and private company taxes unlike public water residents - it’s absurd, unfair and probably unconstitutional !
