Tell Ministry of Defence to Take Colchester Middlewick ranges off the for sale list

Ever encroaching concrete jungle, only last week a Roe Dear was run over, she was hit so hard, it tore her apart, the baby she was carrying was ejected from her womb, no one stopped, this is a have for wild life and always has been, the increase in traffic around that area will impact on everyone's life, The Hospital, the Doctors, all emergency services will be stretched even more so than now, the width of the roads that have been proposed since the cars are parked you may get a mini through, never mind an Ambulance or Fire Engine, these proposed sites are always bought buy a London Council.... Build the other side of London... leave Colchester alone

Roads busy enough already, pollution high in area, schools, doctors etc all at max capacity, really don't need more housing. Need to keep few remaining green areas full of nature to see on doorstep.

Save this wonderful open space.

The Middlewick ranges have no infrastructure to support houses, and we wish it to be a nature reserve.

No housing. It's too much.

Colchester is the fastest growing town in then country, and as such needs open space for it's residents to be able to live a healthy and happy lifestyle. The land creates a buffer between the town and the villages of Fingringhoe and Rowhedge, and stops urban sprawl. The army is an integral part of Colchester, and the town has always supported it and is very proud of its long army links. many former soldiers settle in the town. One of the ways in which the wider MOD family could recognise this support would be to decide not to sell this land for profit, and so not make a profit from a town and its residents which have always supported its

Too many green areas being built on. A lot of the surrounding residents love to use this for dog Walking or just to watch the wildlife it’s just too important!!

Building on this publically accessible open space is repugnant, especially in an area where there is no local employment, little facilities and is already overcrowded.

Hands of the Wick. Do the decent thing and give it back to the people and nature.

All of us, humans, animals and birds, need this naturally beautiful area to stay green

It’s a place full of rare wildlife and needs protecting

The area can’t cope with the extra traffic. Schools, doctors and hospital can’t cope

The roads, surrounding Middlewick Ranges, are already heavily congested. What about the wildlife?

We need open green spaces, this will help the climate

Infrastructure in the area can’t handle it... roads are packed out... just please apply some common sense here.

This site is far to important to build houses on. Places like this are getting rarer and rarer.

Enough housing in colchester already

Every morning come rain or shine and even in the dark I walk my dog here. There is nothing better than open space and lovely wildlife. I don’t drive so can’t take my dog anywhere else. Please leave this wonderful place as it is.
