I am an environmental scientist and would love to explain and explore how this area could be utilised to its fullest potential as a nature reserve, in these times of global climate change. Every green space is vital.
Kind regards,
Lottie

Rather see green land than 1000 homes that isn’t needed!

Not enough facilities or infrastructure to accommodate that amount of houseing

Please save the Middlewick Ranges from building development. It is a wonderful green area for wildlife and residents to enjoy, please can we not lose it to yet more building. Colchester is overpopulated as it is and just does not have the local infrastructure to cope with yet more people and housing. Thank you

We need to save our wildlife and green spaces! Stop building on green space that is precious. Once we have lost our wildlife we will not get it back. Its all about money and greed.

The surrounding infrastructure can not cope with the volume of traffic as it is, this will be a huge negative to Colchester.
My family and I regularly walk the surrounding fields...This area would make a great country park.

We definitely do not need another massive new housing development in this part of Colchester. There is not the infrastructure to support it and Middlewick is just right how it is.

Please don’t do this development. It makes zero sense to remove green open space with environmental importance. Build the garden community’s that are planned outside of main town area
