last slither of land left and last real wildlife haven, don't build on it

Please please please don’t turn this green space into more housing. The roads around can’t cope with it let also be the schools, doctors etc. Let the community enjoy it as it is

There are too many houses and not enough public green fields in Colchester.

please no more houses unless they are council houses

Leave us and nature a place to grow and breathe.

Mersea Road is already badly polluted. Mersea Road is the escape route from Mersea Island in case of a leak at Bradwell power station which is due to be rebuilt and decommissioned. There's already bad traffic jams, more housing will cause gridlock I to town.

We need this land for walkers. Too much building here, not enough schools, doctors....etc. I can't get a gp appointment at all for my disabled child, nevermind myself. More houses is not the solution.

The whole of Middlewick Ranges should be a Country Park. NO MORE CRAP Housing Developments

I would really love to keep middle wick as a nature's reserve. lots of people use that wood. if everyone could get together we could save middle wick. importantly it has life and trees. and adventures for children. if they keep making houses like they do. in years to come no one will have no wood lands to go to. also the animals that live their will be affected. I am an animal lover. and they don't have a voice. but if everyone could do their bit. wild animals will have places to go to. and won't become extinct.

Do the right thing and leave this green space to nature.

Get more Drs hospital schools etc first. Leave Colchester green spaces alone

Think of the wildlife, they have a right to live too.

why sell the land just to make new homes there is more places around to do that. leave the place how it is not good for the people who use it.

The loss of this green space to the building of 1000 houses would be devastating. We the residents of the area and the whole town of Colchester and beyond, can not cope with losing more valuable natural habitat for wildlife and the destruction of more trees that give us the very air we breathe. While a worldwide climate crisis is occurring, it is imperative to save as much open land, woodland and hedgerow as we can.

We want it to be a country park for the people of Colchester.

No way should this go to cramped hosuing

Having lived in Colchester for the majority of my life and grew up in Monkwick, the ranges have been a huge part of my life. More importantly it's an extremely important piece of land that is home too hundreds of different species. This land should be given to the people of Colchester I'm recognition of supporting the armed forces for hundreds of years.
