Tell Maryland legislators: no chicken moratorium

Please protect our local economy by protecting our local growers and the merchants they do business with.

Politicians putting their noses in something they don’t understand or see a way to line their own pockets by screwing hard working taxpayers

Please oppose this bill regulating the poultry industry in Maryland. Our livelihood depends very much here on the shore regarding the need to maintain poultry to support our economy.

I'm opposed to SB841/HB1312. If you want to make a difference in cleaning up the bay, start by holding PA and NY state accountable for trashing the Susquehanna.

I hope this bill is shut down! If things are not broke leave it alone! The issue is not the hard working farmers, food producers, the issue is the people that truly believe meat comes from the grocery store, not farm raised. It's time we the people stand together and take our country back!

Isn't there anything that is safe anymore, Damn, LEAVE THE CHICKEN COMMUNITY ALONE. YOU ALL HAVE MESSED UP JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE.

This is why Maryland is considered, "Anti-Building" by all business owners. This bill just proves the point. I am against this bill.

I know at least 8 families that work hard to provide quality environments for their flocks as well as a livelihood for their families. I teach kids that tend to their chicks and learn so much with first hand, on the job training about what it takes to be a chicken farmer. They are our future in family owned businesses. Please let our food supply continue to be protected by those that know what they are doing and have a passion for doing what is right.

Maryland chicken farmers care for the environment, care for our communities, and care for the consumers who purchase and consume their products. Farmers are facing so many challenges these days and yet still find ways to be better at what they do because it is the right thing to do. Support Maryland farmers and locally grown food.

This misguided bill is an attempt to target the poultry companies, but is only going to hurt the family farm. The companies will simply move production to Delaware, Virginia, or Pennsylvania leaving Maryland farmers at a disadvantage.

No chicken moratorium! Work together to see what the concerns are and give the poultry industry an opportunity to respond/address.

No moratorium on our Poultry industry! Let us grow our industry with the infrastructure we need.

Oppose Senate Bill 841/House Bill 1312. Save the family farm, which are not "industrial poultry operations". They continue to work hard to help feed the world.

No moratorium. We are family farms feeding the world. We protect our environment. Farmers are were the 1st environmentalist!!

This bill is not a moratorium, this bill will bankrupt Maryland's family farms.
