Human health is not separate from health of the other. the other does not exist. I will not stay at an American Hilton because shark fin soup results in great suffering and I do not want to contribute to suffering.

Sharks are some of the most beautiful creatures in the world and this planet simply cannot survive without the ocean's top predator. I love sharks and want to see them freely in the ocean, not in a bowl of soup.

Please STOP. Shark fin has no nutritional value nor taste and the sharks that are targeted are thrown back into the ocean to die a slow, painful death. Every bit counts. Go shark fin free!

If shark fin soup was the tastiest dish on earth, you could almost understand this barbaric practice. But given that it is the most bland virtually tasteless ingredient, it amounts to nothing but killing for the sake of killing in the name of ignorant ostentatiousness and has no place in a civilised country.
