I manage travel at my company. Knowing that the Hilton chain still allows shark fin soup on its menus will influence my hotel selections going forward. You just lost hundreds of bookings.

Are you kidding me? wake up people, no sharks, no seafood...sharks play the crucial role of disease control in our oceans. Wake up people...every shark that is killed and finned to support the ridiculous appetite for Shark fin soup is a tragedy. To all people that may still believe that paying for a bowl of Shark Fin Soup makes you something special in your small part of the world...take my word for it...the rest of the world thinks you are a primitive stupid fool..I am disgusted by your ignorance and lack of understanding of the damage you are doing. Your ignorance is leading to the extinction of the worlds oceans. Please stop providing shark fin soup. This practice is abhorrent and, if I'm honest, I did not know that Hilton still aligned themselves with this revolting practice. Until I hear that shark fin is off the menu, Hilton hotels will be off my list and those of my friends. Please do stop this now.

This is unethical business and serving shark fin soup is completely against what you say you stand for. I will be sending this link to every single person I know and make sure that if I, or anyone I know, has to stay in a hotel they will NOT stay at any Hilton until this is banned in ALL of your hotels.

Shark finning is a horrific and brutal practice used on sharks that is now threatening their existence. Practices such as serving shark fin soup are not only inhumane and unethical for supporting such a cruel industry towards sharks (ie. the shark fin industry cuts shark's fins and leaves sharks suffocating until death) though also for supporting an industry driving sharks towards extinction. For these reasons, I urge your hotel to immediately and unconditionally stop serving shark fin soup.
