Fitness together is set up for private strength training, allowing for strict infection control protocols to be fulfilled. Let them submit their readiness plan and return to the business of keeping people healthy.

Don’t leave the importance of health and fitness out of the first phase. There are ways and they need to be taken.

As a retired pathologist with background in keeping laboratory staff safe from disease exposures, I’m very confident with the protocols and procedures Pilates MN has put in place to keep clients safe. Please consider permitting them to open, with all appropriate precautions.

Dear Governor Walz. I would like to begin by saying I think you have done an excellent job attempting to balance the health and safety of the people of MN with consideration of theIr economic and mental health. I have been a physical therapist for almost 40 years and I feel I am qualified to assert that small exercise facilities with appropriate limitations on both allowed capacity and time spent in the facility would be allowing for healthy activity while balancing risk. I have personally seen the benefits of patients in managing chronic issues. Please consider with urgency the opening of small gym/ exercise businesses. Thank you.

I own a private fitness studio that does not serve large groups of people like traditional gyms

Please allow small studios like pilates studios to re-open June 1st. There are so many responsible small biz owners in this field and they should not be lumped in with big gyms.

I have agreed with the Governor on how he has worked with this pandemic. But I do believe that each business establishment needs to be looked at and taken into account individually. One size does not fit all categories. As a client of Pilates MN, I have seen the Guidelines they have established prior to being able to open. They are thought out, very comprehensive and keeping both staff and clients safe within the current guidelines. I think them sling with other small Businesses should be allowed to open IF they have very specific guidelines in place prior to opening; which a Pilates MZn does.

Proper protocols are in place for a safe return to an environment to continue a healthy lifestyle . Don't feel safe with a continued lock-out from keeping healthy due to poorly planned return to normal.

I know that most small fitness centers will be doing things as carefully as possible and don’t have the means to stay closed much longer. Let’s give them some help.

Please Reconsider Pilates studio as a necessity. I am 70 years old in back pain without Pilates. Consider it physical Therapy for so many of us.

Boutique fitness facilities should NOT be grouped in with the big box, large gyms, clubs & movie theaters. These smaller studios are very able to control the number of clients and easily clean to control the spread of COVID-19

Our gym already does safe distancing and has only a small group at a time. We Are not the same as a large box box gym and should be allowed to be open! Thanks!
