Stop treating those of us who take our health seriously. We know how to take of ourselves and those around us. Your fear is not greater than my freedoms.

If hair, nails salons and massage therapy businesses can open June 1st, why can't small fitness studios and even gyms open.

I am signing this petition as a voice for PilateMN. I find it ridiculous and unfair that you are denying hardworking boutique gyms from getting back to business. The staff and management at PilatesMN has a safety and health protocol in place that I support and meets the standards of the state and CDC. Please stop picking and choosing - open boutique fitness studios and let these businesses survive!

Small operators should be allowed to open now They are about ready to go out of business and if we don’t get them open quickly you’ll be losing a lot of small businesses. They are not the same as the large gym.

I am a single woman and the owner of a small well-being studio. I am appointment only and will have only 2 or 3 people total including myself in my studio at a time with MORE than 6 feet of social distancing. I help people with things like frozen shoulders, migraine head aches, back pain, neck pain, chronic and acute pain, pre and post operative and so much more. My clients need my services more than they need a haircut or dinner in a restaurant. This is going to put me out of business and I am a single woman running a business and household on my own. What I do is far far safer than getting my haircut with someone standing over me. Also far safer than sitting at a table in a restaurant eating with others. I hope that you will take a true look at how different I am than a gym. I am not even close to a gym. This needs to be addressed. All of the small well being studios in town are going to be put out of business by this. I beg you to really look at this please! Thank you so much, Annie
