Tell BBAHC to Protect Our People

I so agree. Get our local qualified people back!

Victor Dull - a friend and former colleague was forced out a few years ago for sticking up for someone who was being shown the door. What's happening with BBAHC is a crying shame.

I left BBAHC back in December of 2013 due to retaliation because I exposed fraud and other issues. Despite me going through the proper chain of command for help my pleas fell on deaf ears. I have reported it to the appropriate officials. And over time, inappropriate practices have continued by the Upper Management Administration..Now that these practices have threatened the patients and the constituents it has gained the interest of Tribal organizations, IHS, CMS and the Bristol Bay communities .

CHAP management needs to be evaluated. Use to be better untill it was made a department on it's own.

That place is not supporting local hire. After college I did not want to work for that organization just because it was so top-down micromanage by one person. They are doing a good job running out locals, which is not positive for this region and they are putting peoples lives in danger.

Remove top personnel who are NO longer serving our people and Change for our Regions people's Sake!

Cut off the head of the snake. More importantly, cut off the "neck" COO that is controlling the direction of the head. Also in this case, remove those certain members that are providing the venom that is poisoning our people.

This is long over do! It's a shame we have allowed this to go on for so long. We are to blame, because we did nothing when it started. We stood back and allowed dictatorship to infiltrate our health care system. I am proud that we are standing our ground for change. I am honored to be apart of the change that is happening.

As a past employee of BBAHC it is appalling to me what is happening there today. I worked there for 11 years and it was a great place to work under Darrell Richardson’s leadership. He led the corporation with kindness and allowed his employees to reform there duties to which they were hired for. The CEO is a puppet with no ability to lead whatsoever. He will do whatever the executive committee asks of him and whatever the COO tells him to do. He is a disgrace to our region to not stand up for the patients and his own people that work under him. I speak from my own experience. It is time for a total change of management that looks out for the best interest of the patients and for the people that are in the trenches. No one can be effective in there duties working under a hostile environment.

Get to the bottom of what is going on there....starting at the top.

A man waa fired months before reaching his retirement, causing him to loose his pention. That should be illegal.

Our locally grown people should be given support to serve their community. It's sad to lose good educated folks who choose to try to make a living in Dilingham

My son was diagnosed with stage 3 nasal cancer by ANMC. He was seen by BBAHC 2 years ago for the lump ANMC rem removed and diagnosed as cancer. You all did nothing for him. 2 years went by and now my son has stage 3 cancer. I worked for your corporation as a CHP. I'm so disappointed in the health care!!!

I am a BBAHC employee and I am in complete agreement with this petition. As signing under my name would jeopardize my job, I am regrettably signing it anonymously. During my time at BBAHC I have seen many excellent employees fired for inadequate reasons or forced out because their integrity was put on the line. Evelyn is by far one of the greatest losses our corporation could have sustained and I hope the board and administration will soon right the wrong that was done in forcing her to resign. BBAHC is the largest employer in our region and I know that there are many like me who are outraged at having to sit silently while a tyrannical upper management infests our workplace with toxic morale and a culture of fear. As an employee whose top priority is the care and wellbeing of our patients, I am grateful to those of the community who have created this petition and to all those who have signed it. We employees who still have jobs have so much to risk by speaking up, so thank you all for echoing what is in our hearts and on our minds.

I honestly don’t know what I’d do without Evelyn “Lolly”. She’s helped my family so much. I hope the right thing is done and she is welcomed back to BBAHC with no hard feelings or grief. We need to honor our hard workers, we need to protect them, we need to encourage them to keep doing what they are doing. More so, when they are our own. Our people know our people. They know our culture, they know our needs. They speak our language and help us understand things we may not always understand. Lolly has been one of these advocates for my family.

There is a quality award that no one sees at the end of the hall that was never show cased that I believe that is a important piece to BBAHC. As a patient and as I was looking for my child I seen a bright and shinny thing on the wall, awarded to the Medical staff team for the quality improvement award. Wow! Why was this not included in the BBAHC report that was sent out to the public but instead covered it up with the quality of water. The Doctors and the quality improvement worker should be applauded for the hard work they are doing but instead they are being fired and the COO is looking for reasons to fire them. What is the HR director doing about this? Is he hiding something behind the sense also? I would like to see that award displayed ASAP

Hit the nail on the head.

It’s frustrating to see great doctors leave and or be fired because of one woman and a couple of board members who are to ignorant to see what they are doing to our community with the decisions they are making, it’s time for some new blood in the seats on the board and hopefully this time people who aren’t in it to line their pockets at the expense of our community.
