Troubling discussion is happening in the ALC community. There is talk that All Life Center’s Board of Directors is working behind closed doors to change the mission and membership composition of ALC without any input from the professional members. They may even oust ALC’s founder to do it!
Most of us prefer to not be pulled into controversy and low-vibration situations. Sadly, even our community is not immune from the type of vitriol that is present in the broader society. The lack of transparency in this process is disempowering practitioners who have invested time, energy and heart into building practices around ALC and its model.
Real salt- of-the earth people are committed to ALC’s mission. As a nonprofit, ALC should be conducting business like a community asset- not some private business with bigwig shareholders. Anyone whose life is touched by ALC deserves to have a say.
The secretive process unfolding has left many providers feeling silenced, confused and concerned for their own livelihoods. Practitioners who have invested time, energy and heart into ALC and its model shouldn't be disempowered. We all care and many want to be heard- but don’t know where to turn.
Sign this petition. Tell the ALC Board to let its professional members have a say before these big decisions. Changing ALC’s mission and ousting our founder behind closed doors is opposite of what we stand for and is simply unacceptable.

The volume of support signifies a clear mandate for transparency from the Board of Directors. I am currently finalizing a formal letter to deliver these concerns directly to the leadership team today. Legal counsel is reviewing our options to ensure our professional standing is protected during their private proceedings.

I have been an active participant in the ALC since the beginning and I know the impact Melinda has had on me (and believe me it’s been life changing!) as well as many others in the community. Some of the rumors regarding board members and their rediculous accusations have very upsetting to myself as well as anyone else who knows Melinda. This is not right and must be stopped
Transparency, openness and a love of the community are what ALC has always been about. It would be so disheartening if something were to happen so that the founders and practitioners were not able to serve those who need them in a positive environment. I hope that things can be changed and those who are being secretive can open up and come to a positive agreement so that the mission is not lost.
Dear ALC board, all professionals at the center deserve to be well informed of any and all changes particularly when the board of directors are silently discussing the future of these individuals livelihoods. If you continue to operate in this secretive manner their will be no ALC Center because you will have created distrust in the members and their clients. Remember people will either talk poorly or kindly about you and your actions.
This community and its members deserve transparency. Nothing positive grows in the dark.
An open meeting with the Board is needed for all members. We are invested on many levels.

Of course professional members should have a say in the direction this beautiful community takes. This all seems very short sighted and unprofessional. Shame on the board
