It's ludicrous that such an important staple of our community is designed only to benefit the tourists who visit the area. The locals who make the place worth visiting are deserving of a store that is of equal standards as others in the county as well as sufficient service from workers who are paid well, valued and treated with respect

Guerneville safeway is the only grocery store for a multitude of small towns. I find that I must drive 90 min round trip to avoid the hassles of your guerneville location. there is never a "good" time to shop there. Ive seen many people walk away from there overfull carts and leave saying "its not worth the wait, im going to Santa Rosa". The guerneville store caters to Forestville. Rio Nido, Monte Rio, Cazadero, Duncans mills, and jenner (not just guerneville). Your store is joke right now and has been for the 7 years ive been in its vacinity. invest in self checkout at the very least if not employing an appropriate number of staff to handle the demands at the registers all year long.

This store is a disappointment for our community. It doesn't matter what time you go in there are line all the to the produce, the meat dept. even the deli. What does this company consider to be a non-seasonal store? How many people must live within a certain area to be considered a full time store. I feel bad for the employees. They get the blunt if the dissatisfied customers. Obviously upper management cares nothing for the community they are in or the people.

The year-round population of this area grows each year. This store serves not just Guerneville, but rural areas all the way to the coast. Staff this store appropriately. This situation is especially appalling considering this Safeway is supposedly the most profitable in Sonoma county.

The aisles are cluttered, the cheese selections have gone downhill ... 1/4 is goat cheese ... changes to produce section have resulted in inferior products so I get it elsewhere ... overpackagin ... quit moving the cereals around ... Fage yogurt squeezed out by tons of other product ...But the checkers are wonderful if often understaffed. I get my produce elsewhere.

Poorly run. Hours given for peak tourist season. That let's the locals know it us all about money. Only managers are given full time. How do you expect people to survive on pt? Stopped shopping here 2 years ago think you would be surprised how much revenue you are losing from year round residents. Such a ongoing disappointment. There is a reason this store has a bad reputation. Maybe you should come in as a customer and shop

I quit giving this Safeway my business 4 years ago. I still pop in for the odd item and am always stuck in line 15 minutes. Its repulsive that Safeway treats the locals like this, for without these locals, there would be no Guerneville Safeway. That being said, I prefer the quality of local stores like Andy's and Pacific in Sebastopol now. Ill keep my money local, thank you.

this safeway, and most safeways have gotten worse since the takeover if that is even possible...horrible management breeds horrible products and employees from hell.

So poorly managed. Sadly poor service. Over worked employees.
Since I am in Santa Rosa often I shop at G&G. Good prices and friendly checkers. I only go to Safeway when I have no other alternative. It is a bad store.

It was bad before but honestly believe it has gotten even WORSE since Albertson's bought Safeway! I was excited for change, hoping the buy would create a better grocery store for our community. Alas, since the Albertson's has taken over. I purposely drive t Santa Rosa instead because I just can't take it anymore! STAFF your store. Give us products that aren't only bout expire! HELP us! Please!
