as a local resident who only drives but maybe once or twice a week, I rely on Safeway 2 get my day to day thingseach week. I have noticed long lines after 3:30 p.m. Everyday and especially heavy on the weekends. This Safeway needs to have more staffing. We are not a seasonal community. We are a year round 100%environment that needs a grocery store that willaccommodate the huge community that it serves.I suggest closing 3 to 5 hours instead of limiting the staff in the peak hours. There is no need to be open 24 hours in my opinion.

This Safeway is the source of many hilarious stories. This store does not just serve Guerneville, it serves the entire river community. Is it time to talk to Trader Joes?

I find it really retarded that the busiest store in sonoma county is so under staffed! what you don't realize is that that is the only grocery store 4 50 miles to some people on the coast! Some people drive for an hour and a half to go grocery shopping at this store! And most people avoided because it's so understaffed and takes for fucking ever to get through the line!

The Safeway in Guerneville is the primary food store for people in a large geographic area, who live there year round and have children in the regional schools. This store needs to serve its 12 month a year community every day.

Seasonal?! There are thousands of local residents who depend on this store for their grocery needs. This store has needed more staff for a long long time. The staff are always friendly & helpful but the long check out lines due to insufficient number of clerks is absolutely unacceptable. Albertsons wake up!

I live in Guerneville and am perplexed as to why you cut back staff just after labor day. I assume it's because you are the only choice we have.

Our community is being neglected by SAFEWAY corp. We know the potential of this brand as it shows in their other stores. Guerneville is as much deserving of care and customer service as their other customers receive. The lines are ABSURD throughout the store, including the Starbucks. Please help us feel like our money is better spent. Thank you.

We've lived here for 10 years and it's been an ongoing miserable experience to shop at the Guerneville Safeway. It really sucks that I have to wait in line behind 10 people just to buy a quart of milk.

Please make the right choices in honoring your Mission Statement of "Our goal is to be the first choice for those customers who have the opportunity to shop locally in a Safeway store." Otherwise you risk not being people's 1st choice. We, as loyalty customers, have choices as well in where we choose to shop. If you'd visit and see the issues in person, you'd understand the issues and frustration.

The lines year round make me seek out any other option for shopping when ever I can. The unprofessional attitude of the deli workers is beyond any desire to make it worth getting anything in the deli, I have to many storers to list. I feel bad for the checkers, it is not their fault it is all management of this store!

If the Guerneville Safeway is classified as "seasonal" does that explain why it is THE MOST expensive Safeway in Sonoma County? Or is it THE MOST expensive Safeway because it is the only grocery store in Guerneville? Either way, it's outrageously expensive compared to other Safeway stores. As a local, I take that personally.

We sit in lines 10 deep all year, and we are the same customers we were other places before we moved here. We also pay higher prices for many items than we pay at other Safeway stores. I will take the time to drive to the cheaper faster stores elsewhere if you don't care enough about my business to try and make improvements.
