Yes, we want to keep the 341 Virtual or by Telephone Conference. It is efficient and convenient. More work can be done. Everyone is safer and less stressed. 57914 PA and 03971989 NJ

NDNY bar #512253 The advantages of telephonic or Zoom 341a meetings are legion. Debtors can go to work that day and call in from their jobs rather than taking time off. Attorneys can be productive during waiting times. For those of us who live in regions where ice can clog the roads, personal safety of all parties ... Trustees, attorneys, creditors, and debtors ... becomes a non-issue. The process works amazingly well; please allow it to continue.

Telephonic hearings are advantageous for the debtors financial well being. Debtors are in bankruptcy due to financial issues. Requiring an in person hearing means a client must usually take a day off from work. With telephonic hearings many clients call in while at work. They take their lunch or a break and call in. Complete the hearing and go back to earning money upon which to live. Telephonic hearings are a much needed upgrade to a 21st century way of life. Thank you Eric James Homa State of Illinois 6271769

This would be much more convenient for most debtors and their attorneys.

Telephonic hearings have gone exceptionally well and have still provided the Trustees with proper information. They save time and therefor money for the clients, and expenses for the attorneys and trustees.

The telephonic hearing process has worked better than I could have ever imagined. It is a real time and money saver for not just attorneys but for the debtors as well.

Debtor's counsel DE State Bar No. 3625 I suggest the petition be amended to allow either telephonic 341 meetings or 341 meetings via Zoom. While incorporating all of the benefits listed, using Zoom also allows on screen document sharing which makes for smoother prosecution of the meeting.

This format is so much easier for not only the attorneys, but for the Debtors as well. All my clients would prefer to do the meetings telephonically or by video.

I would like for the telephonic 341 hearings to be made permanent. I am in St. Louis, but represent many clients from rural areas in Missouri who are 100+ miles from the federal courthouse. With in-person hearings these people would have to take a day off of work and drive 3-4 hours for a short hearing.

Allowing telephonic hearings for my clients have been extremely beneficial because many of my clients are elderly or live 3-4 hours away. For example, it is 233 miles from Moab to Salt Lake City. It is 173 miles from Vernal to Salt Lake City, Utah. Modern technology allows for the recording of these meetings telephonically and the protective procedures are already in place to identify Debtors by way of their Driver's License and Social Security cards. We should continue with Telephonic and Zoom Hearings.
