I think it is appalling that this mast has been erected so near a school. It should be removed immediately.

The absolute thoughtlessness of the Council to put a mast on a school's boundary is beyond belief. It should be removed with proper consultation to follow. How can lives of the country's future be put at possible risk.

Can we not move the mast somewhere else where children aren't in the immediate proximity?

No planning consultations took place. This mast just appeared and is not in a suitable location so close to private homes and a school

Is it just unfortunate that the original application was submitted on Friday 23 December (meaning that much of the consultation period ran during a holiday period), or could it have been deliberate? This could easily have been sited elsewhere along the same road, rather than adjacent to the school. If Telefonica have any integrity, they would recognise the real concerns that signatories to this petition have expressed, and voluntarily agree to re-site the mast to a more appropriate spot.

We object to putting up a mast without any consultation. Why was this done?

I can not believe that KCC can be so mercenary as to put the health of children and residents at risk from such a controversial installation. Shame on them. Move it now.
